Our dogs need to chew. We feel comfortable with this product because there are no little pieces breaking off as possible chocking or digestive hazards. The dogs love it and could work on it for hours, but we set a time limit and save the treat for another day. That way it lasts for quite awhile. We prefer the ones that are wheat free. Most dog treats contain wheat which our dogs can't have so that's another plus. The biggest problem is fitting the treat into the ball, but if that were easy it would also be easy for the dogs to get it out!
