We put our 60# female labx on this per our veternarian. She had been on rimadyl for a few years and her liver enzyme numbers were quite high. Per our Vet - very serious numbers - Alkaline-Phosphate was 1635, now reduced to 624. ALT was 1000, now reduced to 166. Still not in normal range, but dramatic difference. Kidney tests were slightly elevated before and still @ same, which he felt was good. This was a 6 month recheck. He wants to keep her on it. Our Vet cost was $80. for this item. Directly from manufacturer was @ $60. This is a great price. Otherwise, could not have afforded it and she may not have been with us (Have 5 other rescued strays -pet poor!
