I am always looking for something to both amuse my Lionhead rabbit and encourage chewing for healthy teeth. My rabbit is a small/medium breed and she is easily bored when in her cage. She is also extremely reluctant to try new things. I decided to try this product mainly because of the low price and free Amazon shipping.
When I received this item, I was pleased by the size of the couch which is approximately 8 inches long by 5 in wide and 5 in. tall. Perfect for my sized bunny and the Isis rabbit cage I keep her in at night. Faint, sweet Alfalfa scent & adorable colors as pictured. The details on the couch cushions is great! Unlike some of the other eCotrition snacks that she normally eats within a day or two, my rabbit took over a month before finally deciding to give the couch a nibble. She'd bounce up onto the couch but that was it. I was convinced it was simply going to be a cool looking couch in her cage. However, finally she tried it and loved it! 2 months later and she is STILL nibbling away with about 50% left and she loves to chew so I am pleased at how well the couch is holding up.
If you have a rabbit who likes to chew, this is a fun way to satisfy that need, help promote healthy teeth and the price is about right.
